Arcos Space Living — platform proposal
The whole business, built as one system.
One premium storefront. Four ways to supply it from day one, a fifth on the way. One back office that tracks every product, every order and every kuruş — so a small team can run a company that would normally need a building full of people.
Five ways of selling usually means five kinds of chaos.
Arcos Space Living wants to sell its own stock, partner stores’ furniture, its own manufactured designs and wholesale abroad — with a very small team. Done with spreadsheets, marketplace panels and WhatsApp groups, that model breaks long before it becomes profitable.
| Without a platform | With the Arcos Space platform |
|---|---|
| Stock lives in a spreadsheet; the same sofa gets sold on the website and Trendyol at once. | One stock number feeds every channel. Sell it in one place, it disappears everywhere. |
| Orders arrive in four different panels and someone retypes them. | Every order from every channel lands in one list with one status flow. |
| Manufacturers and stores are managed by phone and WhatsApp. Deadlines slip silently. | Partners work inside their own app. Late steps are flagged automatically. |
| Commissions, payouts and partner balances are calculated by hand. | The ledger calculates them on every sale and pays out on schedule. |
| Invoices and waybills are issued manually, one by one. | e-Fatura, e-Arşiv and e-İrsaliye are issued automatically at the right moment. |
| Nobody knows the real profit per product after fees, shipping and returns. | True margin per product, channel and business line, live. |
| Growth means hiring more people for the same repetitive work. | Growth means more orders through the same system. |
One storefront. Many ways to supply it. One back office.
Customers see a single premium brand. Behind it, products come from different sources — but they’re all managed, sold, shipped and accounted for in exactly the same way.
Four business lines at launch, one planned extension.
Each line carries a different level of risk and margin. Together they let the company earn from stock it owns, stock it doesn’t, and products that don’t exist until someone orders them.
| Business line | Who owns the stock | Who ships | How Arcos Space earns | Inventory risk |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Own collection | Arcos Space | Arcos Space | Sale margin | Medium |
| Partner stores | The store | The store | Commission per sale | None |
| Arcos Space Originals (made to order) | Nobody until ordered | Manufacturer | Design and production margin | None |
| Wholesale and consignment | Arcos Space until sold | Partner sells locally | Sale proceeds minus partner share | Low to medium |
| Designer Network (planned) | Nobody until ordered | Manufacturer | Commission per sale | None |
Three of the five lines carry no inventory risk at all. The company can grow its catalog to thousands of products without buying them first.
Own collection: buy, store, sell everywhere.
Smaller home items Arcos Space buys and keeps in stock. Every item is digitised the moment it arrives, so the team always knows what they have, what it cost, and what needs reordering.
- Order from a supplierPurchase orders with expected quantities, prices and arrival dates.
- Receive and labelScan the delivery with a phone, compare against the order, print barcode labels.
- Store on a shelfEach item gets a location, even if the “warehouse” is a spare room.
- Sell on every channelWebsite, apps, Trendyol and Amazon share the same stock count.
- Pick, pack and shipThe app shows what to pick and where; the cargo label prints automatically.
- Invoice and booke-Invoice issued, ledger updated, profit calculated.
What the platform tracks automatically
- What’s in stock, reserved, incoming, damaged or returned
- Real cost per item, including shipping and customs
- Reorder suggestions based on sales speed and supplier lead time
- Stock counts with difference reports
- Slow-moving products that are tying up cash
- Margin per product after channel commissions and shipping
Partner stores: a bigger catalog without buying stock.
Furniture stores list their products on Arcos Space. Arcos Space markets and sells them, and earns a commission on every sale. The store runs its side through its own app.
- Store applies and is verifiedCompany documents, tax number and bank details checked before activation.
- Store uploads productsPhotos, sizes, materials, stock and price.
- Arcos Space approvesNothing goes live without admin review, so the brand stays premium.
- Listed everywhereWebsite, apps and connected marketplaces.
- Order arrivesThe store confirms and ships within agreed deadlines; every step is time-stamped.
- Commission and payoutAfter delivery and the return window, the store’s share is released automatically.
What the store sees in its app
- New orders, what needs to ship and by when
- Products waiting for approval, live, or rejected with a reason
- Stock levels and what’s selling
- Balance: sold, commission, paid, pending
- Its own performance score: speed, cancellations, returns
Stores get free reach and a sales channel; Arcos Space gets a catalog it never had to finance.
Arcos Space Originals: designed in-house, built on demand.
The team are architects and interior architects. They design furniture in 3D; contracted manufacturers build each piece only when a customer orders it. Original products, no stock, and a margin nobody else can undercut.
From design to catalog
- Design in 3DModel, materials, dimensions and options like fabric and size.
- Feasibility checkManufacturers review it in their app: can they build it, at what cost, how fast.
- Choose and priceAdmin picks the best maker; the platform suggests a price that covers every cost.
- PublishLive with 3D view, “see it in your room” and an honest delivery date.
From order to living room
- Order placedPayment or deposit taken.
- Job sent automaticallyThe manufacturer receives the job with full specs attached.
- In productionThe maker updates progress; the customer sees it.
- Quality checkPhotos uploaded and approved before anything ships.
- Delivery and assemblyBooked, tracked and confirmed.
- Maker paid by stagePayments released as milestones are met.
Wholesale and consignment: selling abroad, tracked to the piece.
Partners abroad — for example in Europe — receive products in bulk and sell them in their own market. Arcos Space is paid as items sell. The partner reports through its own portal, so the stock sitting in another country is never a mystery.
- Agree termsPrices, partner share, currency, reporting and payment schedule.
- Ship in bulkWaybills and export documents generated from the shipment.
- Stock stays visibleItems at the partner still show as Arcos Space stock until they sell.
- Partner reports salesIn the app, item by item.
- Amount due calculatedIn EUR and TRY, with the exchange rate of the day stored.
- Payment matchedIncoming transfers are matched to what’s owed; gaps are flagged.
Why it matters
- Export revenue in hard currency
- Running balance per partner: sent, sold, returned, paid, outstanding
- Alerts for slow stock and late payments
- Restock suggestions based on what the partner actually sells
Designer Network: other people’s talent, Arcos Space’s platform.
Independent designers upload their 3D furniture designs. Arcos Space connects them to its manufacturers, adds its commission and sells the pieces. Designers promote their own products with their own ad budgets — and every sale they bring in runs through Arcos Space.
For designers
A public profile, production through vetted manufacturers, sales, payouts — without running a company.
For Arcos Space
The catalog grows at no design or inventory cost. Each designer becomes an unpaid marketer for the platform.
How it’s tracked
Personal referral links and campaign tracking show exactly which designer brought which sale, so commissions are automatic and indisputable.
Why later
It reuses everything built for Originals. Once the core runs smoothly, adding it is an extension, not a rebuild.
Eight apps on one backend.
Every person who touches the business gets an app made for their job — on the device that suits it. All of them run on the same backend and the same data, so nothing is ever copied, synced by hand or out of date.
| Platform | Device | Who uses it | What it’s for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Storefront website | Browser, desktop and mobile | Customers | Premium shopping, 3D and room views, checkout with installments, order tracking |
| Customer app | iPhone | Customers | Shopping, AR “see it in your room”, delivery tracking, notifications |
| Customer app | Android | Customers | Same as iPhone |
| Business app | iPhone | Staff, warehouse, stores, manufacturers, wholesale partners | Each role sees only its own screens: scanning, orders, production, approvals |
| Business app | Android | Same as iPhone | Same as iPhone |
| Operations panel | Browser | Admin, staff, accountant, partners | Full control of catalog, orders, partners, finance and settings |
| Desktop app | Windows | Office and warehouse computers | Fast reports, instant Excel and PDF exports, label and barcode printers |
| Desktop app | macOS | Office computers | Same as Windows |
| Backend and API | Cloud | Every app above | Business rules, data, integrations, automations, security |
Everyone sees exactly what they need, and nothing more.
Admins create staff accounts and decide, action by action, what each person can do. Partners see only their own products, orders and money.
- Owners
- Everything: settings, staff, partners, money, reports.
- Staff
- Custom permissions — approve products, ship orders, approve payments, issue refunds — set one by one.
- Warehouse team
- Receive, label, move, pick, pack and count stock from a phone.
- Accountant
- Reads and exports financial data. Can’t change operations.
- Partner stores
- Their products, stock, orders, deadlines and balance.
- Manufacturers
- Design reviews, quotes, production jobs, quality photos, payments.
- Wholesale partners
- Consigned stock, sales reports, statements and balance.
- Designers (planned)
- Designs, sales, referral performance and earnings.
- Customers
- Orders, tracking, returns, invoices, saved rooms and wishlists.
Approval limits
A staff member can approve payments up to a set amount. Anything above goes to the owners.
Four-eyes rule
Whoever creates a payment can’t be the one who approves it.
Two-step login
Required for anyone who can touch money or settings.
Sixteen modules, one connected system.
Each of these would normally be a separate software subscription, often priced per user. Here they share one database, so information entered once is used everywhere.
- Product catalog
- One master record per product: variants, photos, 3D models, specs, price per channel.
- Inventory and warehouse
- Locations, barcodes, every stock movement, reservations, counts.
- Purchasing
- Suppliers, purchase orders, receiving, reorder suggestions.
- Orders
- All channels in one list, one status flow, full history.
- Sales channels
- Trendyol, Amazon, Google Shopping and Meta catalogs kept in sync.
- Partners
- Onboarding, verification, contracts, commission rules, deadlines, scores.
- Production
- Feasibility quotes, manufacturing jobs, progress and quality checks.
- Logistics
- Cargo and freight bookings, delivery appointments, tracking, proof of delivery.
- Returns and after-sales
- Return requests, inspections, refunds, exchanges, damage claims, warranty.
- Finance and ledger
- Every lira and kuruş, payouts, reconciliation, profit.
- Documents
- e-Fatura, e-Arşiv, e-İrsaliye, contracts, export paperwork.
- Notifications
- Email, SMS and WhatsApp updates for customers, partners and staff.
- Customer support
- Messages tied to the right order, not lost in personal phones.
- Analytics
- Live dashboards and exportable reports on everything.
- People and permissions
- Staff accounts, roles, approval limits, two-step login.
- Audit trail
- Who did what, when, from where, and why — permanently.
Every kuruş accounted for, automatically.
At the heart of the platform is a proper double-entry ledger. Every sale, commission, fee, refund, payout and expense across all business lines is recorded as it happens, and the books always balance.
How the ledger works
- Exact to the kuruş. Amounts are stored as whole kuruş, so there are no rounding errors.
- Nothing is ever erased. Mistakes are corrected with a reversing entry, so history stays intact.
- Always traceable. Every line links to the order, invoice, payout or receipt behind it.
- Multi-currency. TRY, EUR and others, with the exchange rate stored per transaction.
- Automatic payouts. Partner shares are held until delivery and the return window, then released.
- Reconciliation. Bank, payment provider and marketplace settlements matched against expected amounts.
- Expenses. Recorded with receipts and approved through the permission system.
- Accountant-ready. Clean exports for the company’s accountant and their software.
Example: a partner store sells a sofa
A customer pays 10,000.00 TL; Arcos Space’s commission is 15%. VAT left out to keep the example simple.
| At the sale | Debit | Credit |
|---|---|---|
| Payment provider balance | 10,000.00 | |
| Owed to partner store | 8,500.00 | |
| Commission revenue | 1,500.00 |
| When the store is paid | Debit | Credit |
|---|---|---|
| Owed to partner store | 8,500.00 | |
| Bank | 8,500.00 |
No one calculates this by hand. It happens the moment the order is paid and again when the payout runs.
Know the business in numbers, at any moment.
Live dashboards on the web, in the apps and on desktop. Large reports export to Excel or PDF in seconds on the desktop app, and scheduled reports can land in the owners’ inbox every morning.
- Sales

- True profit
- After product cost, marketplace commission, payment fees, shipping, returns and partner shares.
- Stock
- Stock value, turnover, dead stock, items about to run out.
- Channels
- Which channel earns the most per sale, not just the most sales.
- Partners
- Store and manufacturer scorecards: speed, quality, returns, revenue.

- Lead times, delays and quality issues per manufacturer and design.
- Customers
- Repeat buyers, average order value, where they come from.
- Marketing

- Cash
- What’s coming in, what’s owed out, and when.
- Demand
- What customers search for and can’t find — a list of what to design or stock next.
The platform keeps working when the team goes home.
Routine decisions follow rules the owners set once. People step in only for approvals and exceptions.
| When this happens | The platform automatically |
|---|---|
| An order comes in on Trendyol | Imports it, reserves stock, updates stock on every other channel |
| Stock falls below its reorder level | Drafts a purchase order for the supplier |
| A customer orders an Original | Creates a production job and sends it to the manufacturer with full specs |
| A partner hasn’t confirmed an order in 24 hours | Reminds them, then alerts the team |
| A manufacturer marks a piece ready | Asks for quality photos, then books the delivery |
| An order is paid | Records it in the ledger and issues the e-invoice |
| A shipment leaves | Issues the e-waybill and sends the customer a tracking link |
| The return window closes | Releases the partner’s payout |
| A bank statement is imported | Matches payments to orders and flags anything missing |
| A payment above the limit is requested | Routes it to the owners for approval |
| A customer leaves without paying | Sends a reminder with the items they left behind |
| A wholesale partner’s report is late | Reminds the partner and alerts the team |
The routine work of a 10–15 person back office.
At growth scale, running four business lines by hand would need a full operations team. The platform does that repetitive work, so the people Arcos Space hires can spend their time on design, sales and customers.
| Role it would otherwise need | What the platform does instead |
|---|---|
| Inventory clerk | Tracks every movement, location and count |
| Purchasing assistant | Suggests and drafts reorders |
| Order processors, one per channel | Imports and routes every order automatically |
| Marketplace listing manager | Keeps products, prices and stock in sync everywhere |
| Invoicing clerk | Issues e-invoices and e-waybills on its own |
| Bookkeeping assistant | Records every transaction and reconciles payments |
| Commission and payout calculator | Calculates and schedules every partner share |
| Partner coordinator | Partners work in their own app with automatic deadlines |
| Production coordinator | Sends jobs, tracks progress, requests quality photos |
| Logistics coordinator | Books cargo, prints labels, tracks deliveries |
| Customer update desk | Notifies customers at every step by SMS, email and WhatsApp |
| Reporting analyst | Live dashboards and scheduled reports |
| Document archivist | Stores every invoice, contract and approval, searchable |
This isn’t about having no team. It’s about every new hire doing work that grows the company instead of retyping orders.
Start from a spare room. Scale without rebuilding.
The platform doesn’t require a warehouse, a big team or a large stock purchase to begin. It grows with the business instead of having to be replaced as it grows.
Any space is a warehouse
A room at home, a storage unit or a shelf at a partner’s shop. Give it a location in the app and it’s tracked like a real warehouse.
Most of the catalog costs nothing to hold
Partner stores, Originals and later the Designer Network require no stock purchase at all.
Costs follow sales
Payment and marketplace fees are paid per sale. Server costs start small and rise only with real traffic.
No per-user licences
Adding a new staff member, store or manufacturer doesn’t add a software bill.
No stack of subscriptions
No separate e-commerce, inventory, marketplace integration, CRM and reporting tools to pay for and connect.
Built to grow
The same system works for ten orders a month or ten thousand.
What still costs money: products bought for the own collection, photography and 3D work, advertising, delivery, an accountant and company fees. The platform keeps all of these lean and measurable, so every lira spent can be traced to what it earned.
Built to sell, not just to manage.
The platform is also the company’s best salesperson. These features turn an architecture team’s skills into revenue.

Modern, proven technology, one language end to end.
The whole system is written in TypeScript and shares code between the backend, the website and every app. A fix or a new feature is built once and reaches every platform.
| Layer | Technology | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Backend and API | Node.js with TypeScript | Fast, widely supported, shares types with every app |
| Database | PostgreSQL | Rock-solid for money and stock, where consistency is everything |
| Background jobs | Redis with a job queue | Marketplace sync, invoices, notifications and payouts run reliably in the background |
| Search | Dedicated product search engine | Instant, typo-tolerant search that understands Turkish |
| Storefront website | Next.js | Fast loading and strong Google visibility |
| Mobile apps | React Native with Expo | One codebase for iPhone and Android, with instant updates |

What it costs to keep running.
Beyond building the platform, these are the ongoing service costs. They start very small and grow gradually, only as traffic and sales grow.
| Service | How it’s charged | At launch |
|---|---|---|
| Cloud servers and database | Monthly, grows with traffic | From about $50 a month |
| File storage and CDN | Monthly, grows with photos, 3D models and visitors | From about $5 a month |
| Email delivery | Free tier first, then by volume | $0 at the start |
| Monitoring and backups | Free tiers first, then monthly | About $0–10 a month |
| Apple App Store developer account | Yearly | $99 a year, about $8 a month |
| Google Play developer account | One-time | $25, paid once |
| Domain | Yearly | About $10–20 a year |
| e-Invoice integrator | Package based on number of documents | Varies by provider and volume |
| SMS and WhatsApp messages | Per message | Paid only for messages sent |
| Payment provider | Commission per transaction | Paid only when a sale happens |
| Marketplace commissions | Per sale on Trendyol and Amazon | Paid only when a sale happens |
At launch, the fixed technical cost is under $100 a month, including servers, storage and the App Store and Google Play accounts. It rises step by step as visitors and orders grow, and per-sale fees are only paid when money is coming in. Exact figures depend on the providers chosen.
How it gets built.
The platform is delivered in stages. Each stage is usable on its own, so the business can start working with it before the whole system is finished.
- FoundationAccounts, roles and permissions, audit trail, ledger, product catalog, infrastructure.
- Storefront and own collectionWebsite, payments and installments, warehouse, purchasing, e-invoices, Trendyol and Amazon sync.
- Arcos Space OriginalsDesign feasibility, manufacturer app, production tracking, quality checks, product configurator.
- Partner storesStore app, product approvals, commissions, payouts, scorecards.
- Wholesale and consignmentPartner portal, consigned stock, multi-currency, export documents.
- Apps, analytics and launchCustomer and business apps in the App Store and Google Play, desktop apps, dashboards, team training.
Later: Designer Network
Built as an extension once the core is running: designer portal, referral tracking and designer payouts.
Start early, outside the code
- Apply to the payment provider and e-invoice integrator
- Request Trendyol and Amazon API access
- Open Apple and Google developer accounts
- Sign the first manufacturers and partner stores
- Plan product photography and 3D models
These run on other companies’ schedules. Starting them on day one keeps them from delaying launch.
Legal and compliance: get these right from day one.
The platform is designed to support these requirements, but some are business decisions only the company can make. Ignoring them risks fines, frozen accounts or disputes that can stop the business.
| Area | What it requires | Risk if ignored |
|---|---|---|
| e-Invoices and e-waybills | e-Fatura, e-Arşiv and e-İrsaliye issued through an authorised integrator, correctly and on time | Tax penalties, invalid invoices, problems with the tax office |
| Seller or marketplace | Deciding whether Arcos Space resells partner stores’ products or acts as a marketplace; marketplaces have extra obligations under e-commerce law | Wrong invoicing and VAT, unexpected legal duties, liability for partners’ products |
| Collecting money for others | Partner payments must flow through a licensed payment provider’s marketplace or split-payment service, not through the company’s own account | Operating as an unlicensed payment service, frozen funds, serious penalties |
| Distance sales | Pre-information form, distance sales contract, the 14-day right of withdrawal, and its exception for custom-made products shown clearly | Forced returns of made-to-order furniture, consumer complaints, fines |
| Warranty | Statutory warranty on furniture, generally at least two years, and clear warranty terms | Consumer arbitration cases, repair and replacement costs |
| Personal data (KVKK) | Privacy notices, consent where needed, VERBİS registration if applicable, data agreements with partners, breach procedures | Fines from the data protection authority, reputational damage |
| Marketing messages | İYS registration and consent before marketing SMS or email | Fines per message sent without consent |
| Cookies and ad tracking | Consent before tracking pixels and analytics cookies | Data protection complaints and fines |
| Prices and discounts | Discount claims based on genuine earlier prices; accurate product descriptions | Misleading advertising penalties |
| E-commerce registration | ETBİS registration of the website and apps | Administrative fines |
| Export and consignment | Customs declarations, export VAT documents, and the partner country’s consumer, data and product safety rules | Customs problems, VAT claims, goods stuck at the border |
| Design ownership | Written contracts with manufacturers and designers on who owns designs; NDAs; registering key designs | Manufacturers copying Originals, disputes over who owns a design |
| Partner contracts | Commission, deadlines, quality, damage responsibility and termination for stores, manufacturers and wholesale partners | Disputes with no clear answer, unpaid losses |
| Marketplace rules | Trendyol and Amazon listing, stock accuracy and shipping rules | Penalties, lower ranking, suspended store accounts |
This is a technical overview, not legal or tax advice. Each point should be confirmed with a lawyer and the company’s accountant before launch.

Not a website. The operating system of the company.
Most furniture startups begin with a simple online shop and rebuild everything when they grow. Arcos Space Living starts with the system a much larger company would need — so a small, talented team can run four businesses at once, prove each one with real numbers, and grow without hitting a wall.
